The Kalita Wave Tsubame Stainless Steel Dripper is expertly crafted in Tsubame, Japan, a city celebrated for its exceptional metalwork. Made from significantly heavier gauge stainless steel, it retains heat better for consistent brewing temperatures, while the domed bottom ensures more even drainage for perfectly balanced extractions.
This durable dripper guarantees optimal coffee extraction and features an ergonomic curved handle for an effortless pour-over experience. Compatible with Kalita Wave 155 filters, its flat-bottom, 3-hole design brews 1-2 cups (350-450ml) of exceptional coffee.
Whether you're a home brewer or a café professional, the Kalita Wave Tsubame is a timeless piece of Japanese craftsmanship that blends beauty and function in every cup.

It's wonderfully convenient for a single cup of coffee. I was nervous about the conductivity of the metal, however with a short pre-pour it gets to temp and maintains very well. I'm enjoying it more than the glass 185 I've used for years. Highly recommend owning two different material pourers so you can find the differences and the cup you enjoy most. And among metal, I recommend this one.
Really beautiful dripper that makes good coffee. The only issue I had is that when brewing over a mug, the dripper can form a seal against the edge top edge of the mug, which creates a vacuum and causes the brew to stall. To fix this, I stick some bamboo skewers between the dripper and the mug.
Love the dripper!!! Very well made and makes a very delicious cup of coffee. It does drain faster than my other Kalita. But it’s great in its own right. It looks beautiful too!!! Not a flaw on it.
This Dripper with standard kalita 155 filters works very well. I use a dose of 15 grams of coffee at a 16/1 ratio with water. Further I shoot for a total draw down time of 4:00 minutes with a 45 second bloom.
Consistently great results.
This was a birthday gift for my son who worked his way thru college as a barista. He has retained his love for quality coffee and requested this pour over dripper. He is quite pleased with it and explained to us the differences between your pour over dripper and other brands. He will enjoy his gift on a daily basis.
