The Kalita MINO ceramic dripper combines Japanese tradition with modern coffee brewing excellence. Handcrafted in Japan using the centuries-old Mino ware technique, each dripper undergoes a meticulous process, from chrysanthemum kneading to the final glost firing. This technique, originating in Gifu Prefecture, offers a rustic, natural satin finish and earthy tones, bringing warmth and charm to any space.
The MINO’s flat-bottom, 3-hole design paired with Kalita 185 Wave filters ensures an even extraction for smooth, balanced coffee free of bitterness. Its 20-wave filter and dripper minimize contact between water and the filter, allowing for an even flow and rich, full flavor.
Perfect for home or café brewing, the Kalita MINO reflects the craftsmanship of Oribe, Setoguro, and Shino wares. Whether you're serving 2 to 4 cups, the MINO dripper delivers not just exceptional coffee but also a touch of artisanal beauty to your brewing ritual.

Made in Japan! Very well made. I got it to ugrade my home set up from the stainless version, and to use the stainless for camping trips. This one is way heavier than the stainless, but it has more refine design for the filter and larger holes for better flow. Love it! UPS fragile shipping, 10/10!
Makes the tastiest cup of coffee and doesn’t require the most perfectionistic use ever, leaves a little room for error while the coffee still comes out great which is nice!
Was excited to receive this as I've had the metal version for many years and this update looked beautiful. However, it cracked within a week. It was not subject to any rough treatment, just normal use, setting it down picking it up, etc., so I can only conclude that the quality is lacking.
I never received this order, yet I was charged full price for this and paid extra for 2-day shipping. I have reached out several times and I cannot seem to get anyone to care.
Moved from Chemex system. I was nervous this would not fit my hodge podge of cup sizes but it has fit onto every one so far.
I like the Wave’s 3 hole drip versus other single pour-over methods/devices. My coffees have tasted really good thus far. I am using this with the 185 filters from Kalita that are designed for this.
The finish on the dripper is breathtaking. My wife is into ceramics and she really appreciated the workmanship that had to be involved to produce the piece. IT looks lovely and makes great coffee!
nice ceramic coffee maker. Just cant seem to get a good clean taste. Always seems slightly powdery and bitter. Too bad there are not beter filter choices that I know of.
