The MINO’s flat-bottom, 3-hole design paired with Kalita 185 Wave filters ensures an even extraction for smooth, balanced coffee free of bitterness. Its 20-wave filter and dripper minimize contact between water and the filter, allowing for an even flow and rich, full flavor.

Kalita 185 ceramic is my answer for good camping coffee without electricity and without a “plastic” pour. Works great for every day use at home, too.

This MINO is a great flat bottom brewer. I will be making coffee with it for some time :) 😀
I bought this version after experiencing clogging with other Kalitas. This sand version has, in my experience, been the worst kalita dripper. It clogs dramatically regardless of grind size or pouring style. The standard kalita papers always completely block at least 2 of the three holes, often all 3. Was very excited for this dripper, but ultimately very disappointed.

My grandfather always used the pour over method when making coffee. I’ve been trying to cut out plastic from my coffee routine and this seemed like a great way. So, I donated my Braun coffeemaker and here I am. The dripper is so well made and I bought the carafe as well. I think as long as they’re taken care of, they should last a lifetime.
I haven't mastered the art of pour over coffee yet but enjoy practicing with my purchase!

Looks and feels lovely and makes a wonderful cup of coffee! Seems less finicky to get a great cup than a V60 and flavors are generally sweeter and cups have less acidity. I am loving this 185!
